Job Description:
A company is looking for an IT Operations Technician to provide
Tier 1 support in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor IBM I-Series and Z-Series production environments and
respond to system messages
Process batch cycles and execute batch restarts according to
established procedures
Monitor and ensure successful client data file transmissions across
various platforms
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an IT Operations position with mainframe
consoles and file transmissions
2+ years of experience with JCL, CA7, Control-M, and IBM Mainframe
Consoles
Experience with ITIL ticket systems, BMC Remedy, and/or
ServiceNow
Experience in IT support-oriented environments with established
SLAs
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or
equivalent experience
