nationwide.The Work:The Project Scheduler is responsible for
working closely with technical experts, project leads and project
managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules.Job
Requirements:Travel may be required for this role. The amount of
travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and
client requirements.This position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico
and future relocation may be required.Consulting with project
managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and
subtasksDeveloping, implementing, and maintaining an effective
scheduling management systemCoordinating project timelines with
internal departments and external stakeholdersMonitoring project
timelines and deadlinesIdentifying potential project schedule
delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous mannerEvaluating
performance and preparing project progress reportsAccommodating
updates and changes to project schedulesRecommending actions to
keep project timelines and deadlinesDocumenting project scheduling
processes and maintaining recordsDevelop and provide project
schedule related reports including schedule quality assessments,
earned value, cashflow forecasts and risksHere's what you
need:Bachelor's degree in business or Technical FieldMinimum of 5 -
8 years related scheduling experience, or in lieu of bachelor's
degree, a minimum of 9- 12 years relevant scheduling experience is
requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency in using
PC software and mainframe computer applications such as Excel,
Access, Power Point, MS Project, Asset suite 8, Primavera P6Bonus
points if:Ability to build a schedule from an estimate, Project
Diagram, or verbal Scope of WorkStrong analytical skills and
evaluation techniquesExtensive experience in schedule planning and
managementIn-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the
industryAdvanced ability to evaluate schedule quality, project
progress and facilitate interventionsAbility to keep stakeholders
informed of project timelines and changesExcellent verbal and
written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively
prioritize a variety of independent assignments and meet
deadlinesAbility to effectively interface with all levels of
managementDemonstrated ability to effectively facilitate meetings,
problem solve and drive to resolutionAbility to schedule and
facilitate project meetings with all stakeholders in office or
field environmentAbility to work flexible hours and in field
construction sitesAbility to handle conflictCompensation at
Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may
include but are not limited to the specific office location, role,
