PRIMARY FUNCTION
The CMM Technician is responsible for developing, maintaining, and
generating CMM programs, and using the CMM and other measuring
equipment to dimensionally inspect and verify production and
prototype parts, components, assemblies and tooling. Documents and
reports inspection results in a timely manner. Reads and interprets
blueprints and Manufacturing Process Sheets to determine inspection
requirements. - - -
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
--- - - -CMM and Manual Inspection
--- - - -Experience with Polyworks / CAPPs preferred
--- - - -GD&T Layouts
--- - - -Support corporate continuous improvement initiative
--- - - -Prepare inspection reports for internal and customer
purposes
--- - - -Adhere to safety policies and standards. Maintain good
housekeeping practices around CMM area.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
--- - - -High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool
Technology or equivalent work experience
--- - - -PolyWorks / CAPPS software knowledge preferred.
--- - - -Knowledge of blue print reading
