Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator
to manage database administration for critical SAP
environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and patch databases, and approve new database
patches and upgrades
Perform database backup, recovery, and security health checks, and
provide emergency production system support
Communicate planned changes or outages within the database
environment and assist in root cause identification and problem
correction
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 - 8+ years of experience with Oracle and 2 - 3 years
in an SAP environment
Expertise in database administration, installations, upgrades, and
patching in SAP environments
Experience with backup and recovery, database cloning using RMAN,
and performance tuning
Familiarity with Linux shell scripting and support for PDB and
CDB
Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements
