Job Description:
Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry,
is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team on
a 3-6+ month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to

Responsibilities:
Design and optimize manufacturing cells and plant layouts for
maximum efficiency.
Participate in program launch teams to enhance workflow and
productivity.
Lead problem-solving initiatives and root cause analysis to
minimize scrap and rework.
Develop and conduct Design of Experiments (DOEs) to optimize
quality and throughput.
Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance throughput,
quality, and uptime.
Track and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using PDCA
methodologies.
Analyze and optimize production processes to reduce waste and
increase efficiency.
Develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving
initiatives.
Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to
execution.
Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for operational
enhancement.
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to
resolve challenges.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and
technicians.
Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to drive informed
decision-making.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry
standards.
Prepare and present reports on project status, findings, and
recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
(Master's preferred).
5-7+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing
environment, preferably automotive.
Proven ability to lead and manage engineering projects from start
to finish.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven
mindset.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to work cross-functionally.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Lean Manufacturing Certification.
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and PDCA
methodologies.
Hands-on experience conducting time and motion studies.
Familiarity with industry-specific safety regulations and
compliance standards.
