Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to support
financial strategy and the monthly close process.
Key Responsibilities
Record monthly journal entries and maintain corresponding schedules
and analysis
Review tasks performed by Staff Accountant and coordinate with
finance department members
Prepare monthly reports and assist with annual budget and business
review
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
training
Minimum 8 years of experience in various accounting roles
Strong understanding of GAAP standards and practical
application
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and a reporting tool, such as
Tableau
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot
tables)
